Last night I had a dream about what could have been. You know, when, in your dream, things turned out the way you intended, instead of blowing up in your face. For me, it was a very odd experience, because after I woke up from my dream I realized that the reality in my dream was not what I really wanted, but just a way for me to fit in.
Anyway, this morning has been going pretty well, despite the fact that my mother freaked out about the angle I put a top back onto a basket. I decided to remain calm and just agree with her. It turned out that doing that actually got the argument over fairly quickly and didn't put me in a bad mood. Being calm and nice has really worked out for me latley. I have met a few new people and none of them hate me. It seems like the 'duh' answer to a situation like mine, and it is, but somtimes it takes a little searching elsewhere and exploration of other options before coming back to the simple solution.
School is going ok for what its worth. I don't have that many friends, here at Helix, but they come with time and I havent got time on my side yet. Last year, at grossmont I was much more comfy with the people around me and I had many a people to fall back on and now that is gone. However, I won't waste my time looking back.
My sister and I have been talking and bonding much more, ever since she got her car and license. I have to admit that I do take out most, if not all, of my frusturations out when I am in the car with her. Hearing "fucking bitch! She cut me off!" is not a rare thing anymore. But I have to watch myself, because I still drive with my mother sometimes and she doesnt exactly take well to cursing in her car.
So, I have decided to finally write down what happened 3029430 weekends ago now that I have the time.
Saturday, Darlene and I went over to grossmont and hung out awhile. We ate McDonalds and saw 'Red Eye', which I have to admit was really fun. I like hanging out with Darlene, I always laugh and I don't feel like I have to proove anything to her. We just have fun and that is really what matters. On the way to Grossmont, I took the trolley and met a funny black woman who was about 17 years old. She already had a baby! We got into talking about schools and stuff like that. It was a pretty fun experience, you know, meeting new people.
The day before (friday) I went to the Grossmont football game, where I saw a bunch of my old pals. I hung out with Darlene though the game. We mostly spent the time talking to Ricky or getting red vines from the food stand. It was a blast. I had a lot of fun.
Uh, Sunday my sister and I went to see 'the king and I' and 'Miss Saigon'. I really liked both of them. Maybe I liked Saigon a bit more, but it was only because the King was harder to hear.
This weekend I basiclly did nothing, except on friday there was a speech party at Angie's house. It was bunches of fun, we played theatre games and just partied. I had a great time.
I know there are pleanty of spelling errors in this one. I don't want to spell check though, so bare with me. :)
